FOR AN INDEPTH EXPORATION OF THE SCHOOL, VISIT THIS INVESTIGATIVE ARTICLE PUBLISHED IN 2007 IN MOTHER JONES.
My only criticism is the statement that this is the only school in the country electroshocking their charges (no pun intended). As someone who has worked against electroshock torture for over 40 years, I know it goes on far more often than reported.

Please Stop Painful Electric Shocks on Your Students
Greetings,
I’m writing you today to ask that you immediately stop the practice of shocking special needs students placed in the Judge Rotenberg Educational Center. This is an inhumane practice that the United Nations considers torture.
The video of Andre McCollins being brutally shocked has been seen by people all around the world who are now deeply concerned that other students continue to suffer at the JRC’s hands.
The non-verbal students with autism who receive the most electric shocks at JRC are not able to speak for themselves to describe the psychological harm they experience. Many parents may not have given “informed consent" because they signed papers without being permitted to actually see for themselves what “treatment” by electric shocks at JRC actually looks like.
The electric shocks have not been demonstrated in studies to show that they reduce behaviors of students once they graduate from JRC and are away from the threat of fear and pain.
Immediately stop shocking students at your center.
