7th International Writers Festival-India

26-27 November, 2011 at Wardha (Maharashtra) - India

For the kind attention of Roma poets, writers & scholars etc.

Dear all,

As you are already aware India Inter-Continental Cultural Association (Regd.) Chandigarh-India, is engaged in promoting Indo-Romani Cultural ties thru its various literary & cultural activities in India & abroad.

Now we are organizing 7th International Writers Festival-India on 26-27 November, 2011 at Wardha (Maharashtra) - India in which a special session will be devoted to Romani Language, Literature & Culture.

The main theme of the Festival is: Diaspora Literature & Universal Peace, Contributions of Mahatama Gandhi For more details pl. visit : www.indianwriters.org

Interested Roma poets, writers & scholars, etc who wish to participate are welcome and they should inform about their participation immediately, so that official signed invitation letters to them are sent at the earliest.

There would be no registration fee for Roma participants. We will provide them lunch and tea/s etc on 26 & 27 of November, 2011. University will provide some rooms in its Guest House free of cost on basis. Others may be provided accommodation at subsidized rates. However they will have to meet their traveling expenses-- International & domestic including in India.

Wardha (Maharashtra) is situated about 5 kilometer away from Railway Stations (i) Sevagram (ii) Wardha. Nearest International Airport is Mumbai or Delhi. Nearest domestic Airport is Nagpur. (80 kilometer away from Wardha). For domestic flights pl. visit : www.makemytrip.com; www.yatra.com
