ESTELLE BENNETT
Estelle Bennett, one of the Ronettes, the trio whose 1963 hit "Be My Baby" epitomized the famed wall of sound techique of Phil Spector, was found dead in her New Jersey apartment. The Ronettes were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007.
Another indication of the end of an era.
