Leigh Sinton gypsy pitches appeal rejected

An appeal over a planning application for 10 gypsy pitches in Worcestershire has been rejected.

An Appeal Inspector has upheld Malvern Hills District Council's decision to refuse permission for the development near Leigh Sinton.

A public consultation took place in May following the council's decision in February.

It has been decided that there was no need for the site and it would negatively impact on the landscape.

David Hughes from the council said: "Providing an appropriate number of pitches for Gypsies and Travellers in our development plan is critical but it is also key that these sites are developed in appropriate areas."

IT'S THE 'APPROPRIATE AREAS' THAT I FIND INTERESTING IN THIS PIECE.
I wonder where 'appropriate' is.
It's not Dale Farm........
