IN MEMORY OF SOPHIE SCHOLL
On February 22, 1943 Sophie Scholl, 22, was beheaded by the nazi Regime.
Sophie was a student at the University of Munich and member of the White Rose resistance.
She and her brother Hans were arrested for distributing anti nazi flyers at the University. She was convicted of urging students to rise up and overthrow the nazis.
She was also involved in one of the only demonstrations of German women against the nazis. When a high ranking nazi gave an address to the female students at the university Sophie stood up and turned her back on the speaker. Dozens of women followed her lead.
LONG LIVE SOPHIE SCHOLL

Ever wonder if the United States or some factions, was somewhat complacent before WWII started? How could Germany rearm itself with Treaty of Versai in place? Henry Ford had many factories in Germany and was pro facist. How come devouring went with barely a hitch? I'm not a conspiricy follower but 'yua 'gotta think about it? Right? Casimire
ReplyDeleteOh Casimire. Yes the United States was more than complacemt in the Holocaust.
ReplyDeleteI wish you could come to one of my talks.
The very first forced sterilization laws in the world was passed in Indiana in about 1908. Henry Ford was a Nazi sympathizer and there's oodles of information on that. He even received an award from Hitler.
Let's talk about the US being the leader of the eugenics movement pre wwtwo.
yoy. don't get me started.
I am doing an entire presentation on eugenics in eugene oregon in early april.
you bet the united states has dirty hands.

United Sates Bombers had orders not to bomb German factories that were owned by Ford in WWII.
ReplyDeleteDo I dare say... that facism...still a problem in this country. Little by little civil rights being chipped away. That's how I feel anyway. Does Patriot act really protect us? Well huh?
Casimire
And who are the real terrorists anyway?
ReplyDeleteI'm much more afraid of the patriot act than I am of terrorists from abroad.
I'm much more afraid of being sick without insurance than I am of any terrorists from abroad.
Who are the real terrorists anyway?
